Annyeong haseyo yeorobun!
I’ve been thinking a lot about my future in education, and it’s something that’s really close to my heart. After a long time of reflection, I finally came up with a list of three universities that I’m seriously considering for my master’s degree.
So, I’m sharing this here to get some insight and, honestly, because it feels like I’m venting through writing. 🤫🤭😁 Maybe, just maybe, by the end of writing this, I’ll have a clearer idea of which one is the right fit for me. Hehe, fingers crossed, right?
Alright, let’s get into it!
1. Monash University Indonesia - Marketing and Digital Communication
Oh my God, when I saw this program, I was so excited! This is the one that caught my eye and is covered by the LPDP Scholarship (the scholarship I’m hoping to get because it’s highly prestigious, even though the test is super tough). 😅
Monash University - Marketing and Digital Communications Program

Program Information from Kemendikbud
After looking through the application requirements, Alhamdulillah, I found out my GPA meets the necessary standards to apply. It also asks for an A-level of English proficiency, with a Paper-based TOEFL score of 550 and a Test of Written English score of 4.5. Inshallah, I’m going to push myself and work hard for this!
The Master of Marketing and Digital Communications program is designed to equip students with professional skills, specialized knowledge, and essential capabilities that are relevant to career paths in a variety of strategic communication and marketing sectors. This is an industry-focused degree, perfect for anyone who’s looking to acquire cutting-edge theoretical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills in marketing and communication. It emphasizes critical areas such as digital marketing, strategic and crisis communications, audience research, and data analytics—skills that are crucial in government, corporate, not-for-profit, and community sectors.
What’s even better is that the program integrates local and global best practices, helping students create ethical marketing and communication strategies that work across different cultures, both locally and internationally, in a digitally connected world. With both academics and field professionals teaching the course, students can even choose to deepen their knowledge through elective disciplines available at the Indonesia campus.

3. Atlanta College of Liberal Arts and Science - MBA
Lastly, ACLAS’s MBA program which is perfect for anyone seeking to boost their career in business management and leadership with the essential skills and credentials needed to progress.
I came across this online campus via LinkedIn, and I’m genuinely considering it because of its affordability and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accreditation.
CPD itself refers to ongoing learning activities that professionals engage in to continuously improve and develop their skills. It’s a holistic approach to personal and professional growth.
And get this: they accept the Duolingo English Test, which is super convenient! 😊
Of course, I’ve been pondering if the degree from ACLAS College is recognized in Indonesia by DIKTI, especially since I live here. But after thinking it over, I came to the conclusion that it’s really not an issue for my career.
Actually, DIKTI also said that...
Degree equivalency doesn’t determine if a degree is "recognized," but rather if it’s equivalent to the education level in Indonesia. This is more of a consideration if you plan on working in the government or a local job that requires it.
For me, though, I’m more focused on working remotely, where skills are valued over diplomas. This is why I’m still highly interested in applying. In addition, the curriculum aligns perfectly with my career goals.
Duration: 1 year full-time
MBA Program Overview:
- Human Resource Management
- Marketing Communication
- International Business
- Essential Management and Communication Skills
- Finance and Accounting
- Leadership and Team Development
- Financial Concepts
- Strategy and Operations
In addition, the program is 100% online and self-paced—no travel required, and we can learn from anywhere.
It’s flexible, ranging from 3 to 12 months, and requires 120 credit hours of graduate coursework. Best part? No thesis required!
So, How?
All three options are incredible and would really support my work, but it’s also making it super hard to choose! 😅 As I’m getting older, I really want to make this happen in 2025 (honestly 🥺)because I’ve got so many plans ahead, and I need to take action. But the problem is I'm still confused because my head is full of thoughts. 😌😬
Therefore, by sharing this, I hope I’ll get some guidance from God to make the right decision. Finally, thanks for reading! If you’re also going through this process, I wish you the best of luck. Let’s keep pushing forward! Hwaiting! 💪
