It's philosophy time! Let's go down and explore the ocean, not just enjoy it on the surface. :)
On this blessed Monday, I'd like to talk about a chemical element that has an atomic number of 22. What is it? Are you curious?
The answer is "Titanium," with a symbol of "Ti," an element with an electron configuration of [Ar]3d²4s², which is well known as an oxide. It can be reduced to produce a lustrous transition metal with a silver color, low density, and high strength, and is resistant to corrosion in sea water, aqua, and chlorine.
In the first place, I will talk about philosophy, but why chemistry now? 😬😅 Both are related, though. Titanium has become a self-reminder in my life to be strong, although I don't have a strong muscle. 😅
Titanium has a lot of advantages, such as:
1. Very strong
As mentioned earlier, titanium is very strong and durable, like steel, apart from its light metal nature. This metal also has the highest strength-to-density ratio of any metallic element in the periodic table.
2. Light
One of the reasons for the popularity of titanium is the metal's light weight. People who wear titanium jewelry don't have to worry about chafing or feeling heavy on their skin.
Actually, the philosophy of the titanium is to remind us to stay strong yet don't be hard over anything; let it flow because the more we are against the flow, the harder it is to follow its stream, let's follow the stream because it will take us to where we should be at. :)
