Welcome back!
It's been a long time since I wrote any creepy stories here because, deep down, I don't want to hear such tragic news anymore. I want to live in peace. :)
However, tonight I'd like to write down my opinion on the murder of Abby Choi. I bet you have a lot of questions: who is Abby Choi? why was she killed? etc. I'll discuss below about her murder.
Before I write down this heartbreaking news that makes my heart hurt so much, let's pray for the victim, according to our religion, Aamiin. 🖤
Okay, let's get started.
1. Who is Abby Choi?
Abby Choi (29) was an influencer and model in Hong Kong, and she appeared in many fashion magazines. She got married to Alex Kwong but got divorced and had two children. In 2016, she married a businessman in Hong Kong.
I actually don't want to dig more deeply about her private life because digging someone's private life feels impolite to me personally. 😥 But her private life leads to her murder, that's why I wrote it here.
2. Why was she killed?
After reading many facts about the motives, she was killed due to financial issues.
Okay, even though she's been divorced from her ex-husband, she still took care of him and his family by buying an apartment for her ex and his family.
Someday, she intended to sell it, but she would buy a new apartment for her ex. It's like moving to a new place. However her ex doesn't want to move from that apartment, and they had a fight that ended in murder.
3. Who killed her?
As I told you before, she and her ex had a fight and it led to her being killed, and her body was decapitated horribly. Her ex and all of his family did this to her heartlessly.
How can a person who once kept her become her death angel? It's so tragic, I can't imagine it. 🙂
What have I learned?
This case becomes viral in the world because it's very gruesome. I learned so much from this case.
Money can be root of evil if you want more than you can control. We've heard of many criminal cases that end up with people being killed for money. It's just a number, paper but why people chase it and forget from where people are from, clay not paper.
Truly, the verse in the Holy Quran, QS Ibrahim :7, "If you're grateful, I'll give you more; if you're ungrateful, my punishment is severe," is very true.
When we're grateful for what we have, God will give us prosperity, which leads us to live in peace. I can prove it.
But when we're ungrateful, we may feel always lacking of something. Back to Abby's story, she's so kind and generous. Even though she's been divorced. She gives a job for her brother-in-law as a chauffeur and gives something decent to her ex-husband's family.
But what they do in return is such a heartless thing—so evil.
Well, being actually grateful is what we should do, not only for material things but for many other things as well.
In this current time, smart people, rich people, and famous people are everywhere, but those who remember are hard to find; hopefully, we're one of those who still remember our God not to do something beyond what He has limited and to be kind as always to every creature in this place we live for a temporary time.
Thanks for reading this, guys. I hope you get some insight; take what's good in this writing and leave what's bad.
