I dropped some sites to practice TOEFL and now it's my turn to drop sites to practice IELTS because the format between the two is different and, in my humble opinion, the key to being successful at achieving the highest band score of 9.0 is by practicing consistently. No pain, no gain.

Honestly, I really want to say that I don't really like the listening part in every English test because I prefer the conversation in the test replaced by songs so I can enjoy it while working on it instead of listening to conversations talking about particular topics. 😅

And English tests institutions be like 🙄.  😂

Let's go back to the topic. As I said before, there are two types of IELTS based on its use. General for workers who work overseas and academic for students who continue their studies abroad.

Because both are different, undoubtedly the format of the questions, especially in the writing section, is different, but no worries. By enriching our vocabulary, we can absolutely get the highest band in this section.

Okay, these are five free sites for practicing IELTS.

Besides providing free IELTS practice, this site also provides free webinars or live sessions to build our confidence in taking IELTS. Great!

Besides providing a free TOEFL simulation test, Cakap also provides a free IELTS simulation test that consists of reading and listening sections.

Similar to Cakap, Best My Test also provides a free IELTS practice test besides the TOEFL. It provides both practice tests, general and academic.

Besides providing practice tests, this site also provides free videos about IELTS tips in all sections.

 5. IELTS CDT
The last one is an IELTS practice test that's just like an actual test. The best feature on this site is that you can request an essay evaluation for free to get feedback on how to improve your writing in IELTS. Interesting, right?

Those are five free sites for practicing IELTS. My mentor when I was in the middle of my internship to be a teacher two years ago once said that the difference between TOEFL and IELTS is that IELTS can change someone's path. Hopefully, by sharing this, you and I are able to get the benefits by continuing practicing IELTS on the sites I have mentioned before and finally get the expected band score. 😊
