Let's upgrade our spirituality start from now on by learning new things that might be insightful for us to keep having faith in Him.
So, on 31st of December 2021, where my family members; father, mother and my brother were invited to celebrate New Year Eve by reciting Yasin and praying together in the mosque and I didn't join because that was my day off.
I was at home alone watching an interesting movie titled Munafik which is scary yet full of moral message and it's the first time for me to watch it because I didn't know before, I'm not really into movies yet this one caught my attention.
Munafik is a Malaysian movie which tells about a man/a father who worships satan instead of Allah but in his daily life he goes to the mosque and does anything normal just like a Muslim.
He has a daughter named Maria who believes in Allah fully yet she's like depressed all the time, even so, he has a stepmother who accidentally checks her room and finds quite many satanic worshipping books.
There's also a man named Adam who is known as a pious man (a main character in the story), tragically his wife passed away due to accident and he doesn't realise that his son also passed away in that accident yet he can still interact with his son normally.
Since his wife passed away due to terrible accident, he almost lost his faith and he tries to know what actually happened to his wife's death and one by one facts about it are revealed.
His father is a pious man who never stops praying 😇
For the plot, seriously you need to watch it because the atmosphere is scary if you watch it alone, it's more challenging. *Goosebumps* 😅
At the end, Maria and his father are dead, Maria falls from the building but before that, she admits that she is the one who kills Adam's wife for she's commanded by his father, she also asks for Adam's forgiveness for her mistake meanwhile his father is dead right after a strong thunder strikes him when he tries to tempt Adam to hate Maria because she kills his family so Adam can be beaten up by him (Maria's father who is a satanic follower)
Adam finally knows that his son is also dead right after his father tells him. (So emotional)
He runs away and begs before Allah for His forgiveness.
An interesting thing I learn here is Satan can recite Quran better than us because actually Satan is way smarter than us, but why Satan doesn't want to repent and worship Allah? It's because he always feels better than anyone for his smartness.
It reminds me of Lucifer, a representative of "pride" which is one of 7 deadly sins.
We all know that too much attention from people when we successfully do something can lead us to fall into Satan's trap "pride", that's why staying humble is sometimes not easy to do. Congratulations are important for appreciation yet too much isn't good, I think everything is good, anything too much isn't good. (A little bit confusing 😅)
May Allah always guide us to the straight path. 😇
