It's the second week of AFT program :)
On last Wednesday, I took an observation of two periods of an IELTS class at ten grader class of High School.
Then a thing came up to my mind, I studied at National School and as we know that the curriculum of English itself is a bit different, right? We only get at least two English classes in a week but in a bilingual school, English is everyday.
"Is it possible to teach the students of National School which doesn't provide bilingual program how to speak English right away instead of giving them about grammar materials at the first time till they master it?" It's my question.
Then my mentor answered,"it's possible". Yet grammar must be taught too at least after doing warming up before the class is started, she told me to do a warming up by asking her students some simple questions in English especially when they were still in Junior High School.
Lucky me! I've got a chance to do an observation of 7 grader class next week so I get to know the difference of a teaching method between teaching SMA (High School) and SMP (Junior High School). Such an awesome thing!
A seminar that hit my heart is themed "how to be a role model teacher". Yes, when we decide to dedicate ourselves to be teachers, we have so much thing to do, etiquette, moral kind of.
It hit my heart, because I'm not that good to be an example for my students :") being often kidding, joking, kind of things 😅😂 once it's a rocky, it will be a rocky 😂
But yeah, slowly I have to be a little bit serious but not that killer though :v
And the last thing is a seminar about an exam apps, it's still being a thing for me to learn so wish me luck 😁
I think it's enough for today, stay tuned guys to read my trash hehe 😅😂
